Handmade earrings often look prettier than store bought ones and are cheaper! They are lovely gifts that take a very short time to make. If you make some earrings why not check out the origami gift box tutorial too.

you will need:
  • 6 beads

  • 2 charms

  • a pair of fish hook earwires

  • 2 eyepins

  • pliers and wire cutters

Costings:

Costs will vary depending on where you buy your earring parts from.

I bought two charms for 50p each and the remainder of the parts cost me approx 50p.

Altogether one pair of earrings cost me about £1.50

Hook the eyepin onto the earwire. Use pliers to secure.

Add your charm.

Put the beads on the earwire.

Use pliers to bend the eyepin into a loop to secure.

Cut the earwire with the wire cutters leaving enough to create a loop.
