Origami Fairy Lights

This can be a time consuming gift to make, but is easily one of the prettiest and most thoughtful. This idea is simple - all you need to know is how to make an origami cube.

You will need:

Fairy lights
A square of paper for each light, approx 6"x6" but it's also nice to vary your cubes in size. Don't make them much bigger than this though as they will fall off the lights.

Costings:

This is one of the more expensive gifts as the fairy lights will cost you a fair bit of money. If you have the money, it is certainly worth it to give someone a really thoughtful gift.

You can buy nice paper for this if you wish, however you could save money by making your cubes out of the likes of old sheet music and maps.

Depending on how many fairy lights your buy, the cost will vary. You should be able to get 40 LEDs for under £15.
